Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Provider ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use inventoryprovider.in, the dealer portal, admin tools, and related mobile apps (the "Services"). We operate as a B2B platform for verified property inventory and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") as applicable.

1. Data we collect

  • Account identifiers: phone numbers (E.164), emails for platform admins and dealer users, names, organisation details (GST/PAN where provided).
  • Device licensing data: device fingerprints / platform identifiers, device labels, last-active metadata, and coarse network metadata used for slot enforcement and reclaim.
  • Usage & audit: login events, verification actions, billing events, and admin audit logs required for security and compliance.
  • Communications: messages you send via contact forms or support channels.

2. Purpose of processing

We process personal data to:

  • Authenticate users and enforce device-slot licensing
  • Provide verified inventory, billing, notifications, and advertising tools
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorised sharing of credentials
  • Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

3. Consent

Where required, we obtain consent at login (for example dealer and admin OTP/password flows) covering phone numbers, device fingerprints, and coarse network metadata used for account security and licensing. You may withdraw consent by closing your account through your organisation admin or by contacting us; some processing may continue where required by law or for security.

4. Retention

  • Phone numbers and related identity data: while the user is active in an organisation, plus approximately 90 days after disablement.
  • Device fingerprints and licensing records: while the organisation subscription is active, plus approximately 90 days after disablement, unless needed longer for dispute or security investigation.
  • Billing and invoice records: as required under applicable tax and commercial law.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with subprocessors that host infrastructure (cloud, email, payment gateways) under contractual confidentiality, and with authorities when legally required. Builder contact numbers shown in inventory are business contact details provided for dealer outreach.

6. Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions for platform admins and dealer organisations. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please protect your devices and credentials.

7. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act and applicable law, you may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and raise grievances with us. Organisation admins control dealer user access within their tenant.
